Sanjay Jheel (Wetland) is situated in Rishikesh city. It is spread over 14 hectares area. Its six hectare area has a natural lake. It is also called the origin of Rambha River. Various water streams’ water collected in it and make perfect habitat for various species, specially wetland birds.
This wetland is soon going to be an developed as biodiversity destination.
